Youth & Young Adult Ministries

Youth Ministry is designed to help deepen the youth's relationship with Jesus Christ, their community, and the world through scripture, prayer, Catholic moral teaching, and service to others. Please contact Tina Laguna: tina@olos.org for more information.

Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity. - 1 Timothy 4:12

Confirmation

Preparation for the Sacrament of Confirmation begins when the youth is in seventh grade or the equivalent age, which allows any seventh grader, regardless of age, to present himself or herself for Confirmation. The youth must be at least 12 years old when they receive the sacrament.

Youth Group

This program is for middle and high school youth from 6th to 12th grade. The program provides a safe fun place for youth to find a solid Catholic community, to get answers to their questions about faith, and, most importantly, to experience Jesus in a profound and personal way. The focus is on scripture, service and community building.
